The South East Europe (SEE) 2020 strategy was adopted on 21 November 2013 at the Ministerial Conference of the South East Europe Investment Committee, co-chaired by the government of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).
Creation of one million new jobs in SEE until 2020 is the most important aim of the strategy dubbed “Jobs and Prosperity in a European Perspective”.

Early school leaving (ESL) and dropping out of school are complex social phenomena which require multi-level interventions and cross-sectoral cooperation. Efficient combating ESL and drop out can enhance economic growth, employment and social development. As such, it stands for one of the greatest educational challenges in the region, and reducing ESL and drop-out is a shared objective of SEE countries. Read more

The International Open Space Conference "Skills, Competences, Inclusion", jointly organised by the Federal Ministry for Education, the Arts and Culture (Austria) and the Federal Ministry for Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection (Austria) will take place in Vienna on 5/6 December 2013.
