Skills For The Future: Managing Transition, 21st-22nd November 2018, Turin

On 21st and 22nd November 2018, European Training Foundation, the EU Agency in charge of developing training and education in the EU neighbouring countries, organized a conference Skills for the Future: Managing Transition.

The conference addressed the issues of how global forces interact with local realities and how this affects the demand for skills; how governments, businesses, social partners, civil society, research institutions, communities and education and training providers should work together to manage change; what skills policies work in different contexts, and many more.

The event took place in Turin, Italy.  Around 180 participants from more than 50 countries were exploring how developing and transition countries can respond to global trends shaping the labour market of tomorrow from a skills perspective.
