Online Regional Training for External Evaluators on Social Sustainability and Gender Equity, 20 June 2024

Online training session within Regional Training for External Evaluators on the topics of social sustainability and gender equity was organized on June 20th, 2024. The event, which virtually hosted 37 participants, mainly external evaluators, from various educational institutions across the South Eastern European region and Moldova, was conducted as a part of the project “Enhancements in the Quality of Education and Training in SEE – EQET SEE,” co-funded by the Austrian Development Agency.

The training was led by Dr Dragan Stanojević, expert in this field. It began with an introduction to the concepts of social sustainability and gender equity, emphasizing their importance as indicators of educational quality. Participants explored how to recognize social and gender inequalities in schools and discussed methods for assessing these issues as part of their evaluation criteria. The session included practical techniques for reducing these inequalities, equipping evaluators with strategies to promote a more equitable and inclusive educational environment.
