WBA4WBL Platform – Regional platform about work-based learning and TO REGOS project

The Western Balkans Alliance for Work-based Learning (WBA for WBL) has established its platform (www.wba4wbl.com) managed by the ERI SEE, which is regularly up-dated with the news regarding the work-based learning in the region, documents, tools and contacts in this area, as well as with the news regarding the WBA for WBL project – Towards regionally-based occupational standards (TO REGOS). The project is being implemented in the period from March 2019 – May 2021 and is funded by the Austrian Development Agency with funds from Austrian Development Cooperation.

The platform was launched on 11th July 2019, on the occasion of the Kick-off conference for the TO REGOS project.

Western Balkans Alliance for Work-based Learning (WBA for WBL) is composed of the main institutions in charge of implementing policies in the area of vocational education and training (national VET agencies or centres) and chambers of commerce from the SEE region. This is a partnership between education and business sector, involving representatives from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia, and Serbia, focusing on the issues of modernization of VET through work-based learning, and joint occupational standards.

The WBA for WBL was established within the Berlin process, political process emphasizing the importance of cooperation in the Western Balkan region and supporting the integration of the Western Balkan into the European Union with the support of some EU member states.
