Whole school approach to online and blended teaching and learning – publication
The Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE) published in May 2021 the Whole school approach to online and blended teaching and learning publication. It is providing an in-depth understanding of concepts of on-line and blended teaching and learning, as well as the ways of organizing both in times of pandemic, but also beyond. The main idea is that, regardless of the pandemic, the education and training systems are bound to integrate on-line and digital processes in their provision as a way of responding to the global developments and trends we are witnessing. The publication offers recommendations on how to integrate on-line and blended teaching and learning into everyday school practices at from the perspective of schools, school leaders, teachers and students. To support these multi-level practices, the publication also offers a framework, in the form of a checklist, as a useful tool for practitioners to understand and easily organize the teaching and learning activities in the new format.
