Early school leaving (ESL) and dropping out of school are complex social phenomena which require multi-level interventions and cross-sectoral cooperation. Efficient combating ESL and drop out can enhance economic growth, employment and social development. As such, it stands for one of the greatest educational challenges in the region, and reducing ESL and drop-out is a shared objective of SEE countries. Read more

The Education Reform Initiative of South East Europe (ERI SEE) has supported the development and regional networking of the national VET institutions since 2008. In 2011, the South East Europe Regional Vocational Education and Training Network – SEEVET-Net was established through signing of the Cooperation Agreement between VET institutions from Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia.
