The Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE)
The Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE) is a regional platform for cooperation in the field of education and training. It supports national reforms in education and training through regional capacity building, transfer of know-how and linking these efforts to European frameworks for education development (the EU Work Programme ‘Education and Training 2010’, the Bologna and the Copenhagen Processes). Promoting cooperation between the education and research sectors in South Eastern Europe (SEE) is a priority as well. ERI SEE also addresses more global developments in education and training (the World Declaration on Education for All and the Dakar Framework for Action, as well as the education objectives of the Millennium Development Goals).
SARAJEVO – A two-day regional conference “Western Balkans in 2020 – Overcoming the Economic Crisis and Developing Competitive Economies” was held in Sarajevo on 24 February. The event, organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Secretariat, also marked the 2nd anniversary of the organization. 
The International conference "Teaching Climate Change and The United Nations System" will take place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade on 17 and 18 May 2010. 
The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in
Higher Education (SIU) and the Research Council of Norway (RCN) invite
participants to a conference about higher education and research as a resource
for development in the Western Balkans, in Sarajevo 11 and 12 March 2010.
Learning Technologies, Quality of Education, Educational Systems, Evaluation, Pedagogies TECH-EDUCATION 2010. The Conference is a bold effort aiming to fostering the debate for the Global need in our turbulent times to invest in Education and to go beyond the verbalisms. 
The regional workshop on “Evidence Based Policy
Making" took place in Vienna on 9-10 November 2009 and was organised by
KulturKontakt Austria, the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and
Development and the Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe
in the framework of the Task Force Fostering and Building Human Capital
of the Regional Cooperation Council.
Under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science of Bulgaria, the Second National Scientific Conference with International Participation on Quality in Higher Education will take place in Ruse on 3 -4 December 2009. 
On 14 October 2009 the Commission adopted its annual strategy document explaining its policy on EU enlargement. Donnors
