Quality assurance

The area of Quality Assurance has been joined with the activities of the ERI SEE – RCC Joint Working Group on Recognition of Academic Qualifications as of 2018. The main focus is the support to Western Balkans 6 quality assurance agencies in their adoption of the European Standards and Guidelines and ENQA membership.

ERI SEE, together with RCC, has undertaken a number of activities with that purpose.

The regional portal www.wb-qualifications.org has been developed, containing information about the regional procedures and regulations regarding the recognition and accreditation processes, as well as the regional register of accredited institutions and study programmes.

A number of support and cooperation activities have been organized, such as:

• On 25-26 October 2022 the Workshop on the recognition of higher education qualifications and quality assurance in higher education was organised in Zagreb, Croatia
• Data Management Training for the quality assurance agencies in higher education on 15 and 16 September 2022.
