ERI SEE Governing Board

On the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Role and Organisation of the ERI SEE, Brdo 2010, signed by the ministers in charge of education or delegated persons from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia, the ERI SEE’s institutional structure consists of the ERI SEE Governing Board, the ERI SEE Consultative Body and the ERI SEE Secretariat.

The ERI SEE Governing Board is the decision making body of ERI SEE responsible for developing ERI SEE policies and strategies. The Governing Board adopts Annual Work Programmes, the Statute of the ERI SEE and the Rules of Procedures of the Governing Board, and supports the Director of the Secretariat in its implementation, revies progress in the course of the year and adopts the Annual Report of the Director. The Governing Board reports annually to the Signatory Ministers of Education/Higher Education through ERI SEE Annual Reports.

The Governing Board consists of one representative from each signatory party of the Memorandum of Understanding, Brdo 2010, one representative of the Regional Cooperation Council – RCC, and one representative of each donor country or donor institution contributing a minimum amount of 30.000,00 EUR to the ERI SEE budget annually.

The Consultative Body has advisory function.

The ERI SEE Secretariat, managed by the ERI SEE Director, provides technical, organisational and analytical support to the Director and the ERI SEE Governing Board. It supports the implementation of Governing Board decisions and Annual Work Programme.
