40th ERI SEE Governing Board Meeting, 17 October 2025, Belgrade and online

The 40th Governing Board of the ERI SEE was organised on 17 October 2025 in a blended format: the physical part of the meeting was held in Belgrade, Serbia, and attended by representatives of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, and the ERI SEE Secretariat staff. Online participation included representatives of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro, Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD) and the European Training Foundation (ETF).

The meeting, chaired by Mr. Aleksandar Jović, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, provided a platform to review the implementation of ERI SEE activities in 2025, discuss the draft Activity and Financial Reports for 2025 and agree on the Work and Financial Plans for 2026. It also served to exchange updates with partner institutions and address Secretariat management and staff matters. The session was additionally marked by the participation of the incoming ERI SEE Director, Ms Sandra Brkanović, who will officially assume the position on 1 November 2025.
