9th Western Balkans Civil Society Forum, 19 – 20 October 2023

ERI SEE participated at the 9th Western Balkans Civil Society Forum in Thessaloniki, Greece, organised by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) on 19th and 20th October.

The main topics of the discussions among around 120 participants, coming from the European Commission, European Training Foundation (ETF), CEDEFOP, governments of the region, and a broad range of civil society representatives were the state of democracy in South East Europe, skills in the South Eastern Europe and 2023 as the European Year of Skills and the implementation of the Green Agenda.

The Forum resulted in the adoption of the Declaration with recommendations from civil society sector which together with more information on the event, can be found here.
