Bologna Hub Conference in the Western Balkans: Sharing Knowledge – Building Networks

The Bologna Hub Conference in the Western Balkans took place in Belgrade on 19/20 October 2023. The event which was hosted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The conference brought together representatives of Higher Education Institutions from Serbia and the wider Western Balkans region with their counterparts from Germany and other countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The first day of the conference was dedicated to the thematic exchange on recent developments in the Bologna Process, whereas the second day of the event was devoted to networking activities.

The conference enabled an exchange of knowledge and practices on the Bologna key commitments of recognition, quality assurance and qualifications frameworks. Examples of cooperation from Erasmus+ projects and the European Universities Initiative and recent developments in the context of the European Strategy for Universities were equally presented.
