Conference Smart and Social Responses to the Crisis: How Education, Training and Labour Market Policies can Contribute towards a Resilient Danube Region

An online conference titled Smart and Social Responses to the Crisis: How Education, Training and Labour Market Policies can Contribute towards a Resilient Danube Region  was organised on 18th June 2020. The conference aimed at opening a discussion about challenges and future priorities with respect to developing effective approaches to skills and labour market policies and related project It was hosted by the Federal Ministry of Labour, Family and Youth and the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (Republic of Austria).

Ms Tina Šarić, Director of Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe (ERI SEE) Secretariat was one of the panellists in the discussion titled ‘Challenges of and responses to the crisis in the field of labour market and education systems. She reflected on the ways in which ERI SEE countries responded to COVID-19 crisis on the main challenges on state, school and teachers’ level and on preparation for the future.
