ERI SEE Director in Podcast on Dual Education
At the invitation of a representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the Director of ERI SEE, Sandra Brkanović, participated in a podcast dedicated to dual education, as part of the regular “Dual Education” podcast series, hosted by Aleksandra Milić, Head of the Department of Dual Education and Education Policy.
The discussion addressed key topics related to vocational and dual education in Montenegro and the region, including the development of qualifications aligned with labour market needs, cooperation with employers, and the role of work-based learning. It also covered regional challenges in VET systems and the importance of aligning education with labour market demands.
The discussion highlighted the role of ERI SEE in supporting education reforms through regional cooperation, including activities related to the development of regional standards and curricula, training for teachers and in-company instructors, cooperation with industry, as well as support for green and digital transitions and the social dimension.
In addition, the discussion included her role as Technical Delegate of Montenegro in WorldSkills Europe and the importance of skills competitions for promoting quality and excellence in vocational education, as well as the idea of a Balkan Skills initiative as a future area of regional cooperation.
