ERI SEE Participated in ETF Skills Lab Webinar on Graduate Tracking and School-to-Work Transition, 8 September 2026

Sandra Brkanović, ERI SEE Director, and Marina Papović, Project Coordinator, participated in the webinar “Connecting Education and Employment: Launch of the Expert Community on Graduate Tracking and School-to-Work Transition”, organised by the European Training Foundation (ETF) within the ETF Skills Lab Network of Experts on 8 September 2026.

The webinar marked the launch of the Expert Community on Graduate Tracking and School-to-Work Transition and brought together experts and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, experiences and practices related to graduate tracking and the transition from education to employment.

Discussions focused on the role of graduate tracking in providing evidence on graduates’ employment pathways, skills and competences, job matching and labour-market outcomes. Different approaches to data collection were presented, including graduate surveys and the use of education registers and administrative databases, alongside their potential to support evidence-based education and labour-market policies.

The webinar also addressed the broader policy relevance of graduate tracking for career guidance, quality education and training, work-based learning and labour-market measures. Experiences and examples from different countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova, demonstrated how tracer studies can contribute to programme improvement, stronger links between education and labour-market needs, and more informed policy development.

ERI SEE’s participation provided an opportunity to follow current developments in this area and exchange perspectives relevant to strengthening the connection between education, skills development and employment across South Eastern Europe.
