Fourth EQET SEE Project management meeting – VET component

The fourth Enhancements in the quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE project management meeting within the VET component was organised on the margins of the Final regional meeting for the validation of the Agricultural technician of traditional and organic cultivation occupational standard on 25 and 26 May 2022, in Bar, Montenegro and online, by the ERI SEE Secretariat. The meeting gathered 16 participants, VET and qualification agencies and chambers of commerce representatives, from six partner economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia and the ERI SEE Secretariat project team, Ms Tina Šarić, director of the ERI SEE Secretariat and the EQET SEE project manager and Ms Ivana Živadinović, Regional Project Coordinator.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the upcoming activities within the VET component of the EQET SEE project, primarily project management activities and content activities connected to the development of regionally based occupational standards.

The meeting was opened by welcome addressees from Ms Tina Šarić. She expressed satisfaction with the activities implemented to date and presented the plan for upcoming activities.

The next steps within the VET component will be the organisation of national validation meetings and the national adoption of the Agricultural technician of traditional and organic cultivation occupational standard (ATTOS) and, for the first time in the region of the Western Balkan, the development of the regionally based qualification standard based on the methodology developed within the TO REGOS project. The first regional meetings for the development of the ATTOS qualification standard are expected for the period Jun-July 2022. The national activities aiming at developing the second occupational standard will be implemented in the same period. Lead partner and implementing partners agreed to continue with regular project management and dissemination activities .
