Meeting of the regional working group for the development of regional occupational standard, Online, 17-18 March 2025

Meeting of the regional working group for the development of regional occupational standard was organised online within the Navigating the Road Ahead: Creating Shared Values in the Trucking Industry in the Western Balkans project, funded by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation partnered with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) 0n 17 and 18 March 2025.

The main goal of the meeting was to finalise the regional occupational standard for mechanical technician for heavy duty vehicles by defining activities within identified key tasks for this occupation, in accordance with the regional template for the regionally based occupational standards (OS).

Regional experts in occupational standard development and experts in the sectors of mechanics, machinery or electronics from six Western Balkan Economies as well as the ERI SEE representatives took part in the meeting.

The next step within the project is the development of regionally based qualification standard for mechanical technician for heavy duty vehicles
