Meeting of the regional working group for the regional training programme finalisation and endorsement, online, 26 and 27 May 2025

Meeting of the regional working group for the regional training programme finalisation and endorsement was organised online within the Navigating the Road Ahead: Creating Shared Values in the Trucking Industry in the Western Balkans project, funded by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation partnered with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) 0n 26 and 27 May 2025 online.

The main goal of the meeting was to present and endorse the training programme for Specialist for mechatronics of trucks and heavy vehicles developed based on the regional qualification standard.

Experts from North Macedonia, Mr Zoran Kirovski and Ridvan Zeqiri, tasked to develop the training programme, presented its content and strucutre to the regional working grop, The working group, comprising of regional experts in VET training programme development and experts from mechanical and electrical sectors from six Western Balkan Economies commented on the presented training programme and in the end endorsed it with agreed changes.

The meeting was organised by the ERI SEE with the participation of the HELVETAS representatives.
