Ms Tina Šarić meets Ms Nadejda Velisco, General Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Research of Republic of Moldova

Ms Tina Šarić, ERI SEE Director, met with Ms Nadejda Velisco, General Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Research of Republic of Moldova during her visit to Chisinau on 07 June 2023.

During this meeting cooperation of the ERI SEE Secretariat and Ministry of Education and Research was discussed, in the light of newly adopted strategy of education in Moldova for the period 2023 – 2030 and ERI SEE thematic priorities. On this occasion, significance of the regional cooperation within the framework of ERI SEE was acknowledged, and positive outcomes of the joint collaboration shared, with special emphasis on the project Enhancements in the Quality of Education and Training in South Eastern Europe (EQET SEE). The possible synergies with other national or international projects between the two institutions were also explored.

Ms Ludmila Pavlov, Deputy Head in the Policy Analysis, Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Ms Elena Petrov, Vice-president of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research (ANACEC), Ms Stela Guvir, Head of Public Relations and International Cooperation Office at ANACEC and Ms Milica Grahovac, Sector Project Coordinator at ERI SEE also attended this meeting.

This meeting was followed by the meeting at the ANACEC, implementing partner of the EQET SEE project in Moldova, hosted by its President Mr Andrei Chiucic, which served for concrete discussions on the EQET SEE project and its Quality Assurance (QA) component, continued by the fruitful operational consultations on ongoing activities and planning of the future ones with the members of ANACEC that have been involved in the implementation of the EQET SEE project.
