Negotiations on Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications in the Western Balkans

The fourth negotiations meeting on Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications in the Western Balkans took place in Podgorica on 28-29 March 2019.

Draft Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications included the following professions: Doctors of Medicine, Dentists, Architects and Civil Engineers. The aim of the process of negotiations was to reach a regional agreement on mutual recognition of the said professional qualifications that will be signed by the Western Balkans Prime Ministers at the upcoming Summit in Poznan this July.

The negotiations kicked-off on 21 December 2018 in Podgorica.
