Regional meeting for the recommendations and adjustments of teaching and learning material for the renewable energy professions, Podgorica, 24-25 February 2025

 

Regional meeting for the recommendations and adjustments of teaching and learning material for the renewable energy professions organised within the Renewable Energy Services in Education and Training – RESET project on 24 and 25 February 2025 in Podgorica, Montenegro.

The overall goal of the meeting was to a create a set of recommendations for the gradual increase of the RE energy sector professions in the WB, while the specific goals were to (1) present the teaching and learning material for installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems (2) present the teaching and learning material for installation and maintenance of electrical power equipment in wind power plants.; (3) discuss presented material; (4) develop recommendations for presented TLM (5) detect needs for funding opportunities.

The meeting was opened by Nicolas Heger, Project Manager, GIZ and Tina Šarić, the ERI SEE Director who emphasised the importance of the human dimension of the Green Agenda that is the focus of the RESET project.

Experts on renewable energy and in the development of the learning content within the renewable energy sector, selected via open call from six project economies as well as the experts who worked on developing TLM during the two-day meeting discussed and developed recommendations for finalisation and implementation of the Learning and teaching material for installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems and Learning and teaching material for installation and maintenance of electrical power equipment in wind power plants. The material was developed by Marina Braletić, Melanija Ćalasan and Jadranka Radović.

The meeting participants explored the opportunities for further regional cooperation presented by Hamid Mehinovic of the Center for Economic, Technological and Environmental Development CETEOR.
