Regional Meeting “Towards national verification of trainings for external evaluators and sustainability of project results”,10-11 July 2024, Bar

The regional meeting “Towards national verification of trainings for external evaluators and sustainability of project results” within the project “Enhancements in the quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE” was held in Bar, Montenegro, on 10 and 11 July 2024. This event gathered EQET SEE National Coordination Points (NCPs) for Quality Assurance as well as representatives from the VET component of the project. The first day of the meeting focused on Quality Assurance (QA) and Vocational Education and Training (VET), addressing key issues such as the future of VET, aligning curricula with labor market needs, and ensuring sustainability and quality assurance in VET programmes. Discussions emphasized the promotion and sustainability of project outputs and explored joint future activities between VET and QA components.

On the second day of the meeting, National Coordination Points (NCPs) from the Quality assurance component of the project delved into the relevance of data and the use of Lime Survey for enhancing the quality of external evaluations. They reviewed the status of national meetings for adjusting the Regional training programme for external evaluators, based on national TNA Questionnaire and Lime Survey inputs. Additionally, the implementation of national training programmes and the proposed structure of Regional quality guidelines and procedures for quality agencies were thoroughly discussed. The meeting concluded with a session on planning and timeline for future project activities.
