With thanks and best wishes, ERI SEE
Dear colleagues and friends,
As we come to the close of another year, allow us to take a moment to reflect on our journey throughout 2024 and all the great achievements we made together.
One of the most important traits of ERI SEE’s activities in 2024 was its presence in the fields of Vocational Education and Training, Quality Assurance through External Evaluation, and contributions to the Green Agenda, which reflected its strong partnership with the relevant institutions in the education and training sector in the Western Balkans and Republic of Moldova. Most of the activities happened in the scope of the two large regional projects – Enhancements in the Quality of Education and Training in South Eastern Europe (EQET SEE), funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), and Renewable Energy Services in Education and Training (RESET), funded by the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ). In cooperation with the ministries of education, VET, Qualification and Quality Assurance agencies, Chambers of Commerce and international partners, ERI SEE developed a number of regional products that have been nationally adjusted and integrated into national systems.
Some of these regional products are important novelties – for the first time in the region, the regional teaching and learning materials and work-based learning guidelines were developed, as well as regional trainings in education and training (for teachers, company instructors and external evaluators). By implementing these trainings, ERI SEE became more visible not only at the policy implementation level, but also the level of practitioners, having the opportunity to work directly with teachers, company instructors and external evaluators active in the teaching and evaluation processes.
Another important aspect of ERI SEE’s activities in 2024 was cooperation with international partners on numerous occasions – Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization, European Training Foundation, German Corporation for Cooperation, Regional Challenge Fund, and coordination of information exchange among the existing projects in the region.
Through a large number of events organized or co-organized by ERI SEE, as well as the events attended and actively participated in, ERI SEE continues to establish relationships based on trust, expertise and respect, contributing strongly to national developments through relevant regional actions.
We want to thank you for being with us in everything we do and wish you peaceful, healthy, prosperous and joyful holiday season and all of 2025!
Until we meet again, with warm and best wishes,
ERI SEE Secretariat
