Eight EQET SEE Project management meeting – VET component, 02 February 2024

The eight Enhancements in the quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE project management meeting within the VET component was organised on 02 February 2024 online, by the ERI SEE Secretariat. The meeting gathered 17 participants, VET and qualification agencies, from six partner economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia, the ERI SEE Secretariat project team, Ms Tina Šarić, director of the ERI SEE Secretariat and the EQET SEE project manager and Ms Ivana Živadinović, Regional Project Coordinator. Ms Adriana Spahiu and Mr Diallo Alseny of the Austrian Development Agency took part in the meeting as the representatives of the donor institution.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the upcoming activities within the VET component of the EQET SEE project, first and foremost the timeline of activities in 2024, the development of the teaching and learning material for locksmith and the implementation of trainings for teachers, company instructors and school coordinators.

The next steps within the VET component will be the finalisation of the locksmith regionally based qualification standard and the development of the curricula and teaching and learning material. The regional meeting for the endorsement of the training programme for agricultural technician is expected in the last week of March 2024.
