Meeting of the regional working group for the development and endorsement of the regional qualification standard, online, 15-16 April 2025

Meeting of the regional working group for the development and endorsement of the regional qualification standard was organised online within the Navigating the Road Ahead: Creating Shared Values in the Trucking Industry in the Western Balkans project, funded by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation partnered with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) 0n 15 and 16 April 2025, online.

The main goal of the meeting was to finalise the regional qualification standard for Specialist for mechatronics of trucks and heavy vehicles based on the developed regional occupational standard.

Regional experts in qualification standard development and experts in the sectors of mechanics, machinery or electronics from six Western Balkan Economies together with the ERI SEE and HELVETAS representatives took part in the meeting.

The next step within the project is the development of the trainig programme for the Specialist for mechatronics of trucks and heavy vehicles.
