Meeting of the regional working group for the development of regional qualification standard, Belgrade and online, 07-08 April 2025

Meeting of the regional working group for the development of regional qualification standard was organised online within the Navigating the Road Ahead: Creating Shared Values in the Trucking Industry in the Western Balkans project, funded by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation partnered with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) 0n 07 and 08 April 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia and online

The main goal of the meeting was to make the first steps towards developing regional qualification standard for mechanical Specialist for mechatronics of trucks and heavy vehicles based on the developed regional occupational standard.

Regional experts in qualification standard development and experts in the sectors of mechanics, machinery or electronics from six Western Balkan Economies as well as the ERI SEE representatives took part in the meeting.

The next step within the project is the finalisation of regionally based qualification standard for mechanical technician for heavy duty vehicles.
