Fifth EQET SEE Project management meeting – VET component

The fifth Enhancements in the quality of education and training in SEE – EQET SEE project management meeting within the VET component was organised on the margins of the First regional meeting for the development of the regionally based qualification standard for agricultural technician of traditional and organic cultivation on 05 July 2022, in Budva, Montenegro and online, by the ERI SEE Secretariat. The meeting gathered 16 participants, VET and qualification agencies, from six partner economies: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia and the ERI SEE Secretariat project team, Ms Tina Šarić, director of the ERI SEE Secretariat and the EQET SEE project manager, Ms Ivana Živadinović, Regional Project Coordinator and Ms Mirjana Janovac, Financial Manager.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the upcoming activities within the VET component of the EQET SEE project, first and foremost the organisational aspects of the Methodology for the development of the RBQS and the timeline of 2022 activities.

The next steps within the VET component will be the development of the regionally based qualification standard based on the methodology developed within the TO REGOS project for the first time in the region of the Western Balkan. The regional meetings for the development of the first qualification standard are expected for the period July – October 2022. The national activities aiming at developing the second occupational standard will be implemented in the same period. The lead partner and implementing partners agreed to continue with regular project management and dissemination activities.
