Renewable Energy Services in Education and Training RESET project
Renewable Energy Services in Education and Training – RESET is a component of the Green Agenda: Decarbonizing of the Electricity Sector in the Western Balkans regional project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The main goal of the Green Agenda project is to answer to the increasing demand made by key actors in the electricity sector in the Western Balkans for technological, regulatory and human resources solutions for the implementation of an environmentally and climate friendly energy transition. It will be implemented in six WB economies (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Serbia) in the period between 2023 – 2025. The Green Agenda project foresees the threefold action related to (1) renewable energy grid integration, (2) renewable energy regulatory framework, and (3) promoting technical and vocational education and training (TVET) for renewable energy services – RESET project.
RESET goal: promoting technical and vocational education and training (TVET) for renewable energy services.
RESET Implementation period: 2023-2025
RESET specific objectives:
- Development of recommendations to TVET decision makers to accelerate the labour market and energy developments for RE and
- Raising awareness and promoting TVET/education for renewable energy services.

Closure of the RESET Project
We are pleased to share with you the key results of the RESET project, implemented from October 2023 to September 2025 across the Western Balkans. The project focused on education and skills development for the support of renewable energy transition. In addition to presenting the project’s achievements, we would like to highlight that the teaching and learning materials developed (on the subjects of Solar Photovoltaic Systems and Electrical Equipment in Wind Power Plants) within RESET are available for your use in future work and educational activities. Action Plan Supporting Education and Training for the Renewable Energy Sector Published

The RESET project is implemented by ERI SEE as a part of a bigger GIZ-led regional project: Green Agenda: Decarbonizing of the Electricity Sector in the Western Balkans region. The projects are commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development – BMZ.
